Individual guidance of children in planning leisure activities

This bachelor thesis deals with leisure pedagogy. It focuses on th leisure time of children of younger school age. Aim of the thesis is to find out trainers individual appoach to coaching for children at training camp. It is suggestion of training procedures at training camp focusing on individual development needs based on children's skills and abilities. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the pedagogy of leisure time, motivation and interest-driven activities of a child of younger school age in the field of sports in general. In the empirical part of the work is methodology of interviews and their processing. Acording to the findings, coaches approach children individually to some extent, but rather intuitively. They don't keep any paper records on their athletes. The interviews showed the established coaching practices intuitively take into account the individual settings of young athletes and how they work with their motivation for developing sport skills and abilities. Based on this outlet, a suggestion for changes to training practises has been developer for training camp on the basis of individual need of developing children's sports skills and abilities.
